Doctrinal Statement of Faith:
1. THE SCRIPTURES
We believe the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God as recorded in the original writings.
The Bible is the supreme and final authority for faith, life and conduct for the believer and it’s eternal truths are binding upon all mankind.
2. THE GODHEAD
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three persons are one God, having precisely the same nature, attributes, and perfections.
3. GOD THE FATHER
We believe in God the Father, creator of Heaven and Earth, the only living, true God. He is perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, and completely sovereign. He is worthy of all praise, trust, obedience, and love. He is mercifully involved in the affairs of men, hears and answers prayer, and saves from sin by grace all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
4. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
We believe in His eternal existence as God, His incarnation and virgin birth, His death on the cross as substitutionary atonement for sin, His literal, bodily resurrection from the dead, His present ministry of intercession in Heaven, and in His personal, future return to Earth.
5. THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Godhead, convicts men of sin and regenerates, baptizes, indwells, seals and sets apart believers unto a holy life. He keeps and empowers believers day by day. He is the teacher of the Word of God and the guide for daily living.
6. MAN
We believe that man was created innocent and pure. Adam fell through the sin of disobedience, therefore; all men are corrupted in body, soul, and spirit, and all men need redemption.
7. SALVATION
We believe salvation is by grace alone and is a free gift offered to all men. It requires a personal repentance and acceptance of Christ as Savior. All who receive Jesus Christ are regenerated by the Holy Spirit and become children of God.
True salvation will be manifested by a changed life. We believe in justification by faith in Christ alone, based on the righteousness of Jesus Christ that is freely imparted to us, and that salvation is not based on works or experience.
We believe that all spiritual knowledge, works and experiences are subject to the Word of God, and that the Word of God is the final authority for all knowledge, works, or experiences.
8. THE CHURCH
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in the Church worldwide, the Body and Bride of Jesus Christ– a living spiritual body, ordained of God, expressly provided for in the Word of God, of which Christ is the only head.
All believers should seek affiliation with and participation in a local church as a priority of the Christian life with a goal towards spiritual growth.
9. LIFESTYLE
We believe that a Christian’s life should be Christ-centered in all areas including sexuality. God, in His Word, clearly, authoritatively, and conclusively speaks to the issue of human sexuality and this is therefore an undebatable issue.
That all proper sexual behavior and practice is by Divine design, intent, will and purpose– heterosexual as sanctified only within the bonds of marriage, and that adultery, fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, transexuality, transvestitism, etc., are all human and fleshly deviations from and perversions of the Divine plan.
God hates such acts of sin and rebellion but loves the sinner and has made every provision in His grace and mercy for such to repent of their sin, be redeemed and enabled by the power of the Holy Spirit to live a victorious lifestyle of Biblical sexuality in total deliverance from past, present, or future bondage and practice of such sin.
10. THE FUTURE
We believe in the personal, visible, bodily return of Jesus Christ to Earth, the bodily resurrection of the saved to eternal life in Heaven with Christ, and the bodily resurrection of the unjust to judgment and everlasting punishment in the Lake of Fire.
